Sprint Coaching · Pittsburgh, PA
You used to be fast. Maybe it's been years. Maybe an injury took it from you. At Grace Athletic Club, we help adults rediscover their speed — safely, confidently, and on their own terms.
Who we work with
Whatever stopped you — we start from there. You remember what it felt like to be fast. Maybe it's been years, maybe an injury took it from you, maybe life just got in the way. Either way, the idea of going out and sprinting full speed feels risky — maybe even embarrassing. That feeling is exactly why we exist. We build you back the right way — so the first time you open up and run, it feels like you again.
Sprints, hurdles, jumps, throws, middle distance. Event-specific coaching built around your season, your body, and your goals — with strength and conditioning through our partnership with Essential Strength.
See the 16-week program →You don't have to be a competitive athlete to sprint. This is for adults who want to feel fast, move powerfully, and reclaim the athletic identity they've been missing — built around where you are right now.

Decathlete · Strength Coach · Rehabilitative Training Specialist
"I've lived every part of this sport — from competing on the biggest D1 stages to getting hurt and having to rebuild. That experience is what I bring to every athlete I coach."
Noah Swaby is a Pittsburgh-born decathlete, strength coach, and rehabilitative training specialist who brings a rare combination of elite competitive experience and hands-on rehabilitation knowledge to Grace Athletic Club.
A 2021 graduate of Penn State University with a degree in philosophy, Noah earned NCAA Second Team All-American and All-Big Ten honors as a decathlete before continuing his career at the University of Arkansas, where he contributed to multiple SEC Championships and placed fourth in the SEC decathlon. He holds the Costa Rican National Record in the decathlon.
In addition to his role at Grace, Noah is an assistant coach at Carnegie Mellon University's Track & Field program (focusing on multi-events and high jump) and a strength coach and rehabilitative training specialist at Essential Strength in Pittsburgh — a science-driven facility founded by a sports medicine expert and former head of UPMC's return-to-play program. That partnership means Grace athletes have access to one of Pittsburgh's most rigorous injury recovery and performance ecosystems.
Noah was mentored by Olympic coach Travis Geopfert, who has developed world-class athletes including Tara Davis-Woodhall, Omar McLeod, Hunter Woodhall, and Jaydon Hibbert. He brings that lineage of elite coaching to every athlete at Grace — whether you're a youth competitor, a masters sprinter, or an adult returning to the sport you love.
